YACHTMASTER COASTAL

At the end of 2009 the Coastal Skipper Certificate of Competence will become the Yachtmaster Coastal Certificate of Competence. The standard of the exam and the syllabus remain the same, only the name will change. The names of the supporting courses - Coastal Skipper Practical Course Completion and Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Shorebased - will remain the same.

CERTIFICATE SECURITY

Over the next few months we will be introducing certificates with anti fraud features. All Certificates of Competence including ICC and SRC will be printed on watermarked paper with a hologram and one or two less obvious features.

When you update your qualification you will be issued with a new style certificate. If you would like a new certificate before that you can send in your old one to the RYA with a new photograph and £25.
